Inspired World is designed by child psychologist and educators – to lead the younger generation towards a happier, more fulfilled life by curating and sharing powerful narratives that showcase overcoming adversity, achieving personal growth, and embodying empathy. Through interactive sessions, we equip young minds with the skills to face life’s challenges with optimism and resilience, fostering mental well-being and a positive outlook.
IW SESSIONS
Inspired World conducts transformative sessions that bring to life real-life stories of hope, resilience, and triumph. Each session is designed not just to tell a story, but to engage participants in a journey of emotional and intellectual discovery. Through a blend of interactive presentations, visual storytelling, and guided discussions, these sessions encourage young minds to think critically, empathize deeply, and understand the world around them better.
THE PROCESS
Each Inspired World session is designed to be engaging, educational, and transformative, focusing on leveraging the power of storytelling to inspire and educate young minds. Here’s a breakdown of what these sessions characteristically entail:
Introduction
2 to 3 minutes
The session begins with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the day’s theme, setting the stage for the story to be shared. This segment might also include a quick interactive activity to energize the group and foster a sense of community.
Film Screening
8 to 10 minutes
A carefully curated inspiring story of a contemporary role model is presented, through a combination of audio-visual media such as videos & animations. The stories are selected to resonate with the young audience, showcasing themes of innovation, social responsibility, compassion, resilience, courage, empathy, and hope.
Trivia & More Information
3 to 5 minutes
Following the film, more trivia on the subject and the role model is shared – information that is not included in the film, allowing for a more deeper exposure to the subject.
Discussion and Reflection
10 to 15 minutes
A facilitated discussion takes place. This is a critical part of the session, where participants are encouraged to reflect on the story, discuss its themes, and relate the lessons learned to their own lives. The facilitator guides the conversation to ensure all voices are heard and to deepen the understanding of the story’s impact.
Interactive Activities
10 to 15 minutes
To reinforce the session’s themes, interactive activities such as role-playing, group projects, or creative arts are introduced. These activities are designed to help participants further explore the session’s topic in a hands-on way, enhancing their learning and retention.
Conclusion and Takeaways
3 to 5 minutes
The session concludes with a summary of key points and a discussion of practical takeaways. Participants are encouraged to think about how they can apply the lessons learned in their daily lives. The facilitator might provide additional resources or follow-up activities for further reflection.
These sessions are not only educational but are also designed to be emotionally engaging, promoting a deeper understanding of personal and societal issues through the powerful medium of storytelling.
