Genesis of Inspired World

The concept of Inspired World was sparked by a growing concern over the prevailing negativity in traditional media, which often overshadowed the positive aspects of the human spirit. Observing the potential of storytelling to enact social change and uplift spirits, a group of visionaries, including educators, filmmakers, and psychologists, saw an urgent need to shift the narrative.

This collective aimed to harness the transformative power of storytelling to foster empathy, understanding, and resilience among youth. By weaving together diverse narratives that highlighted courage and resilience, Inspired World was designed to counteract the bombardment of negative content with inspiring, empowering tales that promote a positive outlook on life.

Carefully crafted in collaboration with child psychologists, educators, and the invaluable insights of parents and children, Inspired World is dedicated to nurturing a new generation equipped to face the world with optimism, empathy, and a deepened understanding of their global community. This initiative stands as a testament to the belief that positive change begins with the stories we share.

Our mentors are esteemed experts drawn from a broad spectrum of fields such as education, psychology, storytelling, and media. They possess a wealth of experience and a profound understanding of the developmental needs of children. Committed to the holistic growth of each child, they employ their extensive knowledge and compassionate approach to foster an environment that nurtures emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and empathy. Nirmala Thakur - Education Leader

Nirmala Thakur, Founder and Chief Mentor at Eduxcl, boasts over three decades of experience in education across India and the UAE. Notable roles include leadership positions at Indus World School and Ambassador Kindergarten. Her commitment to excellence is evident through her involvement with prestigious educational models and her extensive experience as a Principal and Headmistress. Joining Inspired World as a mentor, she contributes to fostering positive education and aligning with the mission of creating a happier world.

Dr. Amrita Rajpal - Early Childhood Leader

With over 25 years in early childhood education, Dr. Amrita Rajpal, founder of Edu Learrn Grow and co-founder of THE ABCD SHOW, is a distinguished expert. As Territory Head Mumbai of the Early Childhood Association of India, her influence spans across the educational sector. With a Doctorate and certifications from prestigious institutions like Harvard Graduate School of Education, she has established over 200 preschools, transforming teaching methods with innovative approaches. Recognized with awards such as the Gurupnishad Samman and The Maharana Pratap International Educators Award, Dr. Rajpal is committed to creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences for children.

Harshad Tathed - Education Entrepreneur

Harshad Tathed, a pharmacy graduate and educational entrepreneur, brings over 15 years of experience working with 10,000+ children. Notably, he has guided over 300 students to pass their exams after failing 9th grade. Co-founder of Project Nomad and founder of Swayambodh Gurukul and Colour Bugs Arts Campus, Harshad combines his expertise as a school principal with a passion for social impact. Currently exploring Steiner education philosophy, he continues to innovate in education and create new connections.

Each member brings unique expertise and an unwavering commitment to our vision, driving the collective effort to inspire and educate the leaders of tomorrow.

Mihirr Upadhyay is the visionary founder of Inspired World, a platform committed to transforming young lives through the power of storytelling. Originating from the bustling streets of Mumbai, Mihirr began his career in the film industry as a spot boy, rising to become an internationally acclaimed filmmaker. His passion for narrative art and its impact on human emotions drove him to establish Inspired World, aiming to foster resilience, empathy, and positivity among youth. Mihirr’s dedication to changing narratives and enriching lives is at the heart of his mission to inspire a more compassionate and understanding world.

With a Masters Degree in English Literature and a Bachelor Degree in Psychology & Education, Poonam has facilitated several training programmes on Corporate Communication, Etiquette and Soft Skills. She has over 25 years of experience in academics, mentoring and behavioral counselling, and has been a content curator for Branding & Marketing. She is also the founder of Wag-a-Bond, an NGO driven by passion and compassion for the street animals.

Safwan Patrawala: Aerospace engineer, visual artist, and aerial cinematographer. As the Head of Production for Inspired World, Safwan seamlessly combines his expertise in Aerospace engineering with a creative flair for capturing stunning aerial visuals. Safwan’s distinctive approach showcases a seamless blend of technical mastery and artistic sensibilities, making him a standout figure at the intersection of technology and creativity.
